Who I Am
I am a graduate of Dewar High School. I have a Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science from East Central University in Ada. I am a mom to the spiciest brunette you see in the picture named Sutton. I have lived in Dewar, Okmulgee, Ada, Norman, Jenks, Tulsa, and have landed in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. In my free time, I like to read Brides of Oklahoma magazine, Wed Society magazine, daydream about my daughter’s wedding (in 20 years), take road trips, drink iced-coffee, and hike!
Event Planning:
My love for weddings started in 2009. I was a bride and I planned my dream wedding at Glass Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK. It was a thrill to plan my wedding and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was then that I thought I should use my passion to help others!
It wasn’t until 2017 that I entered into the wedding industry. I became a wedding stylist at David’s Bridal! I have helped countless brides find “the one” along with their bridesmaids and more! I left David's Bridal in 2023 after 6 glorious years of bell-ringing and brides finding that special dress!
In 2020, I was honored to be hired at The Springs Event Center at Tall Chief Cove on Skiatook Lake. Being the venue attendant for The Springs was a dream come true and a giant stepping-stone in the process of opening A. B. Events, which was created in July 2022.
I could not be more excited to offer Month-of wedding coordination and virtual assistance services to Tulsa and the surrounding areas!
I am convinced that my passion for weddings and strive for excellence (overthinking and anxiety?) can be a major asset to you and your upcoming wedding!
